The Word of God is a mirror to a man that believes in Christ Jesus. Meaning when Christ speaks to one man, his intentions are to save the rest when they pay close attention to it. When you examine the Word of God in the book of James chapter 1 verse 22-24 [NIV]: Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the Word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
